Almost a month ago, Elizabeth II, the Queen of Great Britain, Northern Ireland and the Commonwealth realms, passed away. She had lived an incredible life and during 70 years of serving the people has become a style icon. She wore outfits that reflected the changing fashions and state of the nation in different eras.
Distinctive features of her style: hats, brooches and other jewelry, Anello & Davide shoes, Launer handbags and bright colors of outfits that helped her to stand out in a crowd.

The wedding, 1947. Queen Elizabeth II on her wedding day wore a silk satin dress by Norman Hartnell. The dress had a tailored bodice with a high neckline and long sleeves. The skirt and the train were embroidered with crystals and 10000 seed pearls in a rambling floral design. Her silk veil was held in place by Queen Mary's diamond fringe tiara. In the future, she borrowed the tiara to Princess Anne and Princess Beatrice on their wedding day.
